Mark is a writer and marketing professional with an expert knowledge of social media best practices, SEO for web and SEO copywriting. He is the creator and writer of the “Full Sport Press” blog for myneworleans.com, which was awarded Best Sports Blog in 2016 and 2018 by the Press Club of New Orleans. In 2017, Spencer was awarded Best Business Feature – Print, by the PCNO for a cover feature in Biz New Orleans Magazine. His writing style is flexible, ranging from humor and entertainment to business and marketing, and is always tailored to fit the subject matter or client. . Whether providing SEO, social and, or copywriting services for a clients, Spencer is passionate about striking the right tone for the audience and meeting and exceeding web content and traffic goals. Prior to getting into the digital marketing game, Mark spent more than 10 years in the film industry as an assistant director, scheduling production and managing the crew on multi-million dollar projects for TV and movies. When not helping clients achieve their online goals, Mark looks for ways to commit random acts of kindness and hunts for new craft beers to hit local breweries and store shelves.


Melanie is an award-winning writer, editor, columnist and photographer. As an editor and managing editor, she oversees five magazines covering lifestyle in Louisiana and serves as a regular guest expert on WWL-TV Channel 4’s WUPL Morning Show. Spencer also is a contributing writer to and business etiquette columnist for various New Orleans publications. She has been honored for her writing and editing by the International and Regional Magazine Association, the Press Club of New Orleans and by the Texas Press Association for her editorial photography. Having served as a former staff reporter and columnist at the Austin American-Statesman, senior reporter at The Houston Chronicle and editor-in-chief of Houston Modern Luxury Brides, as well as a stint as a roving freelance reporter, Melanie’s pieces have published in newspapers around the country and, through her work with Reuters, all over the world. She also is an award-winning fine art photographer and has shown her work in juried and gallery exhibitions throughout the South. As an active member of the PCNO, Melanie serves as a board member and the vice president. She also serves on the New Orleans Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Chapter board. In her leisure time, Melanie is a member of The Merry Antoinettes Mardi Gras marching krewe and can often be spotted around town with her Merry sisters sipping champagne while dressed in a cheeky version of 18th-century court attire. Melanie also is a certified sabreur through the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or (Brotherhood of the Golden Saber) and can open a bottle of champagne with one swift stroke of a saber.
